Christmas in Heyburn Idaho...

Chris and family came up to see us the day after Christmas. It was so fun to have family in our new home. We played lots of Switch, board games, watched movies, went bowling and to the movies. We ate lots of yummy food. CJ and family came up for Christmas dinner on Sunday. We got to decorate Christmas cookies. We loved having our home full of love and laughter again.

The winter weather has not stopped us from exploring a little. This just makes us even more excited for the upcoming camping season. Idaho has a lot to offer, and we plan on taking it all in.

New Year's Eve led us back to Rupert Town Square to watch the Sugar Beet drop. We stayed for a little while and then returned home to the warmth of our house and watched the NY Ball drop on TV.  The next day we cheered on ASU - even though they lost it was a great game, and they represented well!

95th Birthday Celebration in Arizona...

Received a letter from Chad's Mom a few months ago. She was making arrangements for her 95th birthday party and thought it would be fun to have all her children together to help her decorate for the holidays. This would be followed by sub sandwiches like her husband Charles used to make. So, we headed to Arizona. Mom was so organized, and the decorating came together nicely. Lunch was delicious and it was fun to catch up. We stayed for a couple of days and the weather was perfect.

On the way home we stayed at the Grand Canyon for a night. We arrived just in time to watch the sunset.

Next day we headed to Mapleton to catch Nate's Christmas Concert before returning home.

Looking forward to staying put for a little while!

It Felt Like a Hallmark Movie...

Went to the cute little town of Rupert to watch Santa Claus turn on the town square lights. There were carolers dressed in vintage clothing. Ice Skating. Hot Chocolate and Chili. After the light lighting there were fireworks. What a great way to start off the Holiday Season.

First Thanksgiving in Our New Home...

Enjoyed our non-traditional Thanksgiving dinner with the "Tennessee" Krewson's. Wings, Tri-tip, Yummy Potatoes, Corn Casserole, Salad, Rolls and Apple Pie. What could be better than a holiday at home with family!

Wisonsin - You Have Been Good to Us, We Will Miss You!

Picked up the U-haul on Tuesday morning and had it loaded by mid-afternoon. Thankful for the two Elders that helped us with the big things. We spent Wednesday getting the cars running before the tow truck picked them up on Thursday afternoon. We made it to Jamestown, ND that evening. Eternally grateful that the weather held for us.

Headed out Friday morning and decided that we could make it the whole way. Pulled into our new home 16+ hours later, the two cars being dropped off a few hours prior.

CJ and family came Saturday morning to help us unload. What a great blessing that was. We had the U-Haul unloaded by early afternoon.

Last Stop Before Idaho - Mapleton, Utah...

The last few days are a blur. We stayed Wednesday night with Chris and his family in Mapleton Utah. The next morning, we had the trailer winterized in Draper before heading to Heyburn. We were able to get the vehicles inspected for registration in Rupert. We stayed Thursday night at a hotel in Burley. Friday morning, we closed on the house. Chad took the trailer to storage that afternoon in Twin Falls and bought a mattress for us to use that night. Thankfully our realtor gifted us a blanket for which we were very grateful. We spent Saturday running errands. Sunday, we attended church before heading to stay the night with CJ and his family in Providence Utah. Monday, we headed to the SLC airport for our next adventure.

Stop #6 - Green River, Utah

Drove through some incredible scenery on our way to the Green River State Park. Beautiful campground that we will definitely have to go back and enjoy.
